Introducing our new CEO

24th November 2022

We are excited to introduce Albie Stadtmiller who will lead Listen to Act into our next chapter. He takes over the reins of our interim CEO, Rikki Garcia, who has done an excellent job of transitioning the Healthwatch Central West London team to Listen to Act.

Albie brings a wealth of experience from working in health and social care, local youth council work, and the voluntary sector where his work focused on developing community support initiatives. His most recent role was CEO for Dementia Concern in Ealing – a charity that offers personalised care and direct support to local families.

Albie will lead Listen to Act as we continue to carry out engagement programmes, support local organisations to deliver services, and provide strategic guidance to decision makers on how they can implement and carry out long-term and strategic community collaboration.

I’m really excited to join Listen to Act. I’m looking forward to using my skills, experience, and training to support the staff team, work with the Board, and create meaningful change through Listen to Act’s three key areas of work - Community Collaboration, Strategic Support, and Service Delivery.

I am keen to support a strategic charity that is demonstrating ways to engage and innovate in a way that promotes health, welfare, and good practice. Bringing together the voices of those who access services with those who deliver them is key to improving them. We can get a complete and relevant view of what needs changing and make genuine improvements to people’s lives now and in the future.
— Albie Stadtmiller

As a charity, Listen to Act is rooted in the principles of community collaboration and getting a complete and relevant view of what’s needed.

We know that engagement is successful when time is taken to build relationships with communities and service providers, bringing them together to create learning opportunities that can be acted on to improve them.

We look forward to providing opportunities for you to connect with Albie in the coming months as we continue to develop and deliver community engagement work in Central West London and beyond.

Best wishes,

The Team at Listen to Act
